Adding a bottle to your shelf

Add it from its bottle page, or enter it by hand when it is not in the catalogue.

From a bottle page: choose Add to Collection, then I own this to put it on your shelf, or Add to wishlist. If you are not signed in, you are asked to sign in first and then brought to the add form with that bottle already filled in.

By hand, on the Add a bottle page:

  1. Optionally search by name (at least three letters) and pick a match to fill in the details. Check them before saving.
  2. Enter the name. It is the only required field. Brand, category, size and barcode are optional.
  3. Say whether the bottle is sealed or open. For an open bottle you then set how full it is, and it is added one at a time. Sealed bottles can be added several at once by entering how many.
  4. Optionally add what you paid, where you bought it, where you keep it, and notes.
  5. Choose Add to my shelf.
