What this list is, and what it is not

This is the federal permit register, not a guide to places you can visit. A Distilled Spirits Plant permit is also held by industrial operations that bottle nothing you would drink, and those appear here too.

3,335 of the 5,554 records carry a trading name; the rest are listed under the permit holder's legal name, and each card says which one it is showing.
